On Friday 2nd July, Motus Commercials took part in the NHS Big Tea, a nationwide initiative to have a tea break like no other: to host a tea party and ‘raise a cuppa’ to the NHS and raise money for NHS Charities Together.
All 32 Motus dealerships throughout the UK came together for a national outpouring of thanks for NHS staff, and Motus Commercials’ own keyworker heroes, for the huge role they have played over the last year to keep Britain moving during the pandemic.

Colleagues throughout the business were encouraged to take part by baking sweet treats to raise money on the day. From a home-made lemon drizzle shaped as a model truck through to Biscoff cupcakes there was something for everyone tastes! To encourage further donations and to demonstrate that not all heroes wear capes, Motus Commercials invited colleagues to dress up for the occasion as their favourite superhero.

Raising a staggering £1106, the money raised will help hospitals do more by providing pioneering research, medical equipment, brightening wards with colourful art, and building important links between our hospitals and communities.
Motus Commercials Head of HR, Emma Murdock commented: “This was a fantastic opportunity to support a good cause that is close to all of our hearts and not only brought our 32 sites, but the whole country, together. The dedication from colleagues to get involved by dressing up and baking is a credit to the final amount raised.”
